This web site focuses on the role of Louisville (Kentucky) during the Civil War era (1860-1865). I draw upon as many period resources as possible, like newspapers, soldier’s letters, images, documents, etc.

Because of its geographical position I will also cover certain parts of southern Indiana, especially Clark and Floyd Counties; Jeffersonville and New Albany, Indiana.

For questions or to submit some information or items to be included on this web site please email me.
